2. Allen, Brown connect for 3 TDs

Though John Brown is not a player that anyone would mistake for a big-name wide receiver, the Buffalo Bills seemed like the perfect destination for him. He’s always been a boom-or-bust guy in the NFL with big-play speed and Josh Allen is the type of quarterback that plays right into that style, for the most part. And thus far, it’s paid off nicely for the Bills.

Over the opening five games, Brown has 28 receptions for 390 yards. However, he only has one touchdown on the season. That changes against the Dolphins, though. Against a pass defense that’s giving up 274.4 yards per game, Allen will connect with Brown for three touchdowns, which he’ll need to keep Buffalo in the mix as he’ll also throw a couple of interceptions and have to contend with Fitzpatrick making a run of his own.

1. Dolphins cover the spread for only second time in 2019

Going into a battle of winless teams between the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins last week, the latter was actually six-point favorites coming into the game. Subsequently, the fact that the Dolphins were able to come out of Washington with a one-point loss marked the first time this week that Miami had covered the point spread. But now prohibitive underdogs on the road again, the question is if they’ll do it again.

With the fact that Fitzpatrick is taking the offense back over, the Dolphins are going to have the most life on offense that we’ve seen from them in 2019. And while they won’t be able to stop the Bills and will still turn the ball over a time or two, Miami will do enough to keep things respectable in Buffalo, losing by 10 points or less despite being 17-point underdogs.
