2020 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys score Grant Delpit, Burrow and Hurts hit top 10
By Randy Gurzi
A lot can change between now and the end of the season but things are looking bleak at this point for head coach Dan Quinn. A defensive-guru, his team is currently 31st in the NFL in points surrendered with 31 per contest according to NFL.com.
One of the biggest issues has been their inability to get after the quarterback. In six games, they have just five sacks with Grady Jarrett leading the team with just two. Understanding that this is the best way to fix a defense that has been struggling, the Falcons grab Chase Young from Ohio State here.
Whoever the coach is in 2020, they will be thrilled with what Young brings to the table. The Ohio State edge rusher looks as though he could be even better than Nick Bosa, which is quite a compliment.
The Trent Williams saga is going to end one day and when it does, it will most likely be due to the left tackle landing with a new team. The Washington Redskins land his replacement here in Andrew Thomas out of Georgia.
They believe they have their quarterback of the future in Dwayne Haskins and Terry McLaurin looks to be a star in the making at wide receiver. Adding someone like Thomas will only help those two continue to develop and reach their potential.
