. CB. Denver Broncos. Trevon Diggs. 13. player. 45

The Denver Broncos were looking to add offensive cornerstones in this past draft and did a good job in that regard. They landed tight end Noah Fant, offensive lineman Dalton Risner, and quarterback Drew Lock. Time will tell if these picks pay off, but all those selections were graded very highly.

For years, the Broncos have been known for their defensive ability and even won a Super Bowl thanks in large part to their dominance on that side. This year, that hasn’t been the case as their defense has been struggling. Because of that, they use their first-round selection this season trying to shore up that problem.

Their pick is Alabama’s Trevon Diggs, who has put some injury issues behind him and is putting together a strong season for the Crimson Tide.

WR. Miami Dolphins. Laviska Shenault Jr.. 14. player. 59.

Pick via Steelers

The Dolphins already landed their new face of the franchise with the No. 1 overall pick. Now, they get Tua Tagovailoa a No. 1 wideout in Colorado’s Laviska Shenault. Listed at 6-2 and 220 pounds, Shenault has the size teams crave on the outside but he’s more than just a big-bodied receiver.

Shenault is able to beat defenders with his speed and is no slouch with the ball in his hands. Miami has a lot of work to do in order to become a competitive team and they made it even harder on themselves by trading players such as Minkah Fitzpatrick — who landed them this very pick. However, they can change their fortune for the better should they hit on the three picks they have in this draft.
