The Oakland Raiders have started solidly but now face a huge Week 7 test as they take on the one-loss Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

At 3-2, the Oakland Raiders might be one of the more interesting teams entering Week 7. After something of an upset win against the Chicago Bears in a home game in London, the Silver and Black are on the road in Week 7. This time it’s to Lambeau Field to play the NFC North-leading Green Bay Packers.

The win in London against the Bears gives some needed credibility to a season that has had some setbacks. The whole issue surrounding Antonio Brown seems to have brought the team and perhaps the entire organization together. After two blowout losses, one against the Kansas City Chief (28-10) in Week 2 and then a loss at Minnesota a week later, 34-14, Jon Gruden has his ship steady.

He’s also got a good team. Rookie running back Josh Jacobs continues to impress. Against Chicago, he rushed for 123 yards on 26 carries and added two touchdowns. His quarterback counterpart Derek Carr, also added a solid performance of his own, throwing 229 yards on 25 of 32 passing.

This is not the typical Raiders team that we have seen of late. They are solid on offense, have a good defense and a coach who has most of what he wants. Against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, they have an opportunity to make a big statement before closing out the first part of the season.

Here are four bold predictions for the Oakland Raiders in their critical Week 7 matchup.
