3. Jeffery also has multi-touchdown performance

Having been banged-up for much of the year, Alshon Jeffery has been extra quiet through the Philadelphia Eagles’ 3-3 start to the 2019 season. He ranks fourth on the team in receiving yards this season behind Zach Ertz, Nelson Agholor and rookie running back Miles Sanders. However, Jeffery is tied for the team lead in touchdowns with three.

While much has been made of the Eagles’ woes in the secondary this season, the Cowboys have been shaky in that regard so far this year as well. To make matters worse for Dallas’ defense in Week 7, cornerback Anthony Brown is out for the matchup against Philadelphia on Sunday Night Football.

Byron Jones and Jourdan Lewis are good players but they will have trouble with the big-bodied Jeffery throughout the night. While the veteran South Carolina product is not a burner that’s going to get loose for big plays down the field, he is a 50-50 ball nightmare for opposing defenses. That will again be the case in this game.

Jeffery will have his first monster outing of the 2019 campaign against rival Dallas. Carson Wentz will look his way multiple times in the red zone and connect for at least two touchdowns on the night. The veteran wideout will also end the day with at least 100 yards receiving as he’ll prove to be the heart of the Eagles offense.
