The Dallas Cowboys scored a crucial win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. Here are five things they can build on from that Week 7 victory.

Whenever the Dallas Cowboys have their backs up against a wall, they seem to find a way to turn things around. A 3-0 start to the 2019 season was followed with three-straight losses, which had believers in the team tapping out.

At 3-3, hosting the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football, the Cowboys looked to be a team on the verge of implosion — which was the case last season when they were 3-5 and faced the very same Philadelphia team.

Dallas saved their season last year when they defeated the Eagles 27-20 in that Week 10 contest. They then beat them a few weeks later by a score of 29-23 as they locked up the NFC East.

Fast-forward to this season and Dallas was once again set to play the hated Eagles and it felt as though there was more than just one game on the line. The urgency was easy to see on the players as they came out ready to put the past three weeks in the rearview mirror.

Dallas started out with a 14-0 lead thanks to two turnovers forced by the defense. From there, they never gave up control and ended up winning easily by a score of 37-10.

Now at 4-3, they head into their bye week needing to build on the success they had in this one. Here, we look at five areas they need to continue to build on following their crucial win in Week 7.
