5. Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

The season hasn’t been great for Jalen Reager or for his TCU team as a whole, sitting at 3-3 on the 2019 college football season. Reagor has just 23 receptions for 271 yards and three scores. His 11.7 yards per catch isn’t indicative of the type of pass-catcher he is, though.

The 5-11, 195-pound receiver is a vertical threat whose hampered by a putrid offense. He’s one of the most explosive athletes in college football, who separates with craftiness at the line of scrimmage and at the top of routes.

While he’s not the most physical player, he does have some solid size in addition to his speed. He does let some passes get into his body but his hands are reliable. Reagor tracks the ball well and, once he catches it, he’s dangerous.

On bubble screens, he excels in his ability to make guys miss. He has good vision and will occasionally break some tackles. Once he sticks his foot in the dirt, he’s gone with an open-field gear that’s second to none.

Reagor is a boundary receiver resembling Mike Wallace. He’s an ideal fit for a vertical offense and teams that will utilize his short-area quickness. Reagor will likely hear his name called on Day 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft.
