The Dallas Cowboys find a spark and the Oakland Raiders get exposed as pretenders. See how it shifts things in the Week 8 2019 NFL Power Rankings

Once again, we have our 2019 NFL Power Rankings as we approach the midway point in the season. This week had a lot of drama, which included a knee injury suffered by 2018 NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes. With the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback being sidelined for a few weeks, the Chiefs will be tested — although they still looked fine with Matt Moore during their Thursday Night Football win.

That game kicked the weekend off, but it was the Sunday Night Football game that had everyone’s attention. The Dallas Cowboys were hosting the Philadelphia Eagles with both teams sitting at 3-3 — and tied for first place in the NFC East.

Dallas had lost the last three games, including a shocking defeat at the hands of the New York Jets. Philadelphia was coming in off a loss to the Minnesota Vikings but felt they could get back on track with a win in Arlington. That didn’t happen as Dak Prescott and the Cowboys were locked in and found a spark on both sides of the ball.

Three turnovers by the Dallas defense held the Eagles to just 10 points while the offense put up 37 — their fourth game of the year with at least 30.

While the Cowboys were rediscovering themselves, the Oakland Raiders were being exposed as pretenders. Derek Carr and the Raiders were defeated by the Green Bay Packers 42-24. It knocked them down to 3-3 for the season, which has to be frustrating after they scored two big wins in their previous two games.

With all that dust settling, we look at how all 32 teams rank against one another with the Week 8 edition of the 2019 NFL Power Rankings.
