23. Tennessee Titans (26)

So far, Ryan Tannehill is 1-for-1. The Tennessee Titans finally pulled the plug on Marcus Mariota, the poster boy for inconsistent play. The former No. 2 overall pick out of Oregon has so many tools that it seemed as though there was no way he wouldn’t be a success in the NFL.

That hasn’t been the case though as he goes back and forth between a guy who can throw 300 yards and a couple of touchdowns to a quarterback that gets just 80 yards and can’t protect the ball.

In his place is another former first-rounder in Tannehill. The Miami Dolphins gave up on him in the offseason and traded him to the Titans. In his first start, the Texas A&M product was efficient and effective, leading his Titans to a 23-20 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The defense deserves a good bit of the credit as well, as they held the Chargers out of the end zone in the fourth quarter.

Not only did they keep them out of the end zone, but Wesley Woodyard even forced a fumble by Melvin Gordon which ended the game. The win ends a two-game skid for the Titans, who are now 3-4 on the season. They now prepare to face the Bucs next week as they hope to get back to .500.
