6. Baltimore Ravens (8)

Whenever a team hopes to win their division and have a good season, they have to be able to win ugly games. That was the case for the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7, even if the score doesn’t indicate that. The final score in the Ravens road win over the Seattle Seahawks was 30-16 but their play on offense looked nothing like a team that put up 30 points.

Second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson was able to complete just nine passes on 20 attempts for only 143 yards with no touchdowns. No receiver had more than two receptions, even though their starting tight end, Mark Andrews, had eight passes thrown his way. On top of that, star running back Mark Ingram had just 46 yards with a long rush of eight.

Their saving grace was a defense that made things tough on Russell Wilson as well as another great performance on the ground out of Lamar Jackson. The 2018 first-round pick had 116 yards and a touchdown. They also got a touchdown from newly acquired Marcus Peters, the former Los Angeles Rams cornerback who was traded earlier this week.

Peters, who is on his third team now, got his first pick as a Raven and ran it back 67 yards for a score. It was his 25th pick in his career and his fifth touchdown. Already favorites to win their division, his addition looks as though it could push them over the top.
