4. Green Bay Packers (5)

Even with injuries mounting up at wide receiver, the Green Bay Packers continue to win. They moved to 6-1 on the season after taking out the Oakland Raiders in a game that seemed much closer than expected early on. Oakland scored first and then made it 10-7 following Aaron Jones touchdown reception from Aaron Rodgers.

The Raiders responded by marching all the way down the field, but then made a game-changing mistake when trying to take the lead. Quarterback Derek Carr dove for the pylon on a scramble and when reaching the ball out, it slipped through his fingers. After originally being called down at the one, the refs ended up changing the call to say Carr fumbled it out of the back of the end zone which is a touchback.

Green Bay took the ball over and it was never close again. After blinking, it was suddenly a 42-17 win and the Packers will probably be accused of running up the score after throwing a 74-yard touchdown with just over six minutes to go and already leading by 18.

As good as they have been, they’re not running away with the division since it’s suddenly become a dog fight in the NFC North. Still, they have the lead there and are in full control.
