25. New York Jets (23) – Play on Monday Night Football vs. Patriots

The New York Jets had a terrible start to the season, losing their first four games of the year. They weren’t playing well, but injuries were a huge part of the problem as well. Quarterback Sam Darnold was out with mono and linebacker C.J. Mosley was also out with a groin injury.

While they were without Darnold, New York turned to Trevor Siemian who is a respected backup quarterback. That didn’t last though as he was injured during their Week 2 Monday Night Football loss to the Cleveland Browns. In came Luke Falk, but he wasn’t able to impress as he was cut after Darnold returned in Week 6.

Darnold’s return did help them get things back on track as they scored their first win of the season, shocking the Dallas Cowboys. It was their most complete game of the season but they still had to wait until the final seconds to secure the win as they let Dallas get within two points.

Now, they hope to take the next step this week as they play the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. They could also see Mosley return, hoping that he gives them the boost they need to shock their undefeated divisional rivals.
