As the NFL trade deadline approaches in 2019, here are three players who could be traded by the Minnesota Vikings before the deadline.

With the 2019 NFL Trade Deadline quickly approaching, the Minnesota Vikings could be looking to make some moves while testing the trade market. The league’s annual deadline is a week away, taking place on Oct. 29.

Following a nice win in Week 7 over the Detroit Lions on the road, which resulted in Minnesota securing its third straight victory while now riding a three-game winning streak nearing the midway point in the season, the Vikings are gaining some attention from teams around the NFL and that could result in some teams trying to approach Minnesota with trade proposals around the deadline.

With the Vikings’ recent winning ways, however, it’s not extremely likely that Minnesota will be aggressive in trying to trade away some of its players on the roster while the team appears to be playing its best football of the season going into a Thursday Night Football contest against the Washington Redskins in Week 8 of the year.

Although the Vikings are playing well and are emerging as one of the more well-rounded teams in the league through seven weeks, it’s hard to overlook the fact that Minnesota is in a tough position in terms of its roster and the salary layout within the roster among its personnel.

That reason alone could force the Vikings to look around the league for some trade partners, regardless of how they are playing and performing with the trade deadline inching closer at the end of the month.

According to the NFL Players Association, Minnesota by far has the least amount of cap space in the NFL with $65,674 in available space. The next least belongs to the New England Patriots with about $1.7 million.

And according to OverTheCap.com, the Vikings have -$1.2 million in cap space available for the 2020 season, meaning Minnesota might need to look to free up some money prior to next year.

With the trade deadline nearing closer and closer at the end of the month, here are three names and three players that the Vikings could look to move at the deadline and part ways with during the 2019 campaign.
