Green Bay Packers (6-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (5-2)

Sunday, October 27, 8:20PM ET

I’m sorry, but the loss of Patrick Mahomes is going to be too much for the Kansas City Chiefs to overcome — at least against the Green Bay Packers. Matt Moore will suffice against the Broncos, but he simply won’t do against a sensational Packers defense.

While the Green Bay pass rush has slowed in recent weeks, it’s still plenty capable of consistently pressuring opposing passers. On top of that, their talent secondary has shined this season, intercepting nearly as many passes as it’s allowed to go for six points.

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers is playing some of his best football. And for a future Hall of Famer, that’s saying something. While the KC defense shined against a past-his-prime Joe Flacco, they’re going to get shredded by Rodgers and his band of playmakers. Plus, Green Bay’s running back duo of Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams shouldn’t have too much trouble moving the sticks.

If Mahomes was in the lineup, it may be a different story. However, the gap at quarterback is too wide for the Chiefs to overcome. The Packers head to Arrowhead, get the win and continue their rein of arguably the toughest division in the NFL.

Prediction: Packers win 27-20
