Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) at Buffalo Bills (5-1)

Sunday, October 27, 1PM ET

After the Buffalo Bills struggled to put the Miami Dolphins away this past weekend, concern crept up that they were a tad overrated. While they did manage to bounce back in that one, I’m still a tad skeptical that this team is ready to go the distance despite their 5-1 record.

Why? Well all they really have going for them at this moment is their defense. With that said, the Buffalo defense is right up there with the best in the business right now. They may not be on the level of the New England Patriots’ or San Francisco 49ers’ defense, but they can certainly put the brakes on just about any offense in the NFL.

That’s what they’re going to do on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. It already hasn’t been a great start to the season for the 2017 champions, as they’ve been hindered offensively due to injuries and inconsistent play. Carson Wentz still hasn’t regained his pre-injury form, and the running game has been near-nonexistent.

It’s only going to get worse against the Bills. They’ll keep Philly from finding the end zone at all, while Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense does just enough to avoid another blemish on their record.

Prediction: Bills win 14-6
