1. Russell Wilson throws for 300 yards and 3 TDs

This connects to the previous prediction. After being locked up for most of the game against Baltimore, Wilson will revive his MVP candidacy against the Falcons. Seattle needs to have a showing of force to uphold their standing in the league. That hinges on Wilson setting the tone for the team.

I mentioned earlier how the Texans scored 52 points against the Falcons in Week 5. During that game, Deshaun Watson racked up 426 passing yards and five touchdowns. While I think Wilson will have a more moderate performance, he’ll post big numbers against Atlanta. If Watson can do it, so can Wilson.

Wilson doesn’t show a lot of emotion publicly, but he has to be nagged by the way he played against Baltimore. It was by far Wilson’s worst performance this season. He threw his first interception this year and it happened to be a pick-six by Marcus Peters. Wilson also only completed 48.78 percent of his pass attempts for 241 yards. His passer rating was 62.5.

If there’s a bad bone in Wilson’s body, he will come out against the Falcons and have one of his best performances. It’s the perfect time to get rid of any lingering frustration. Putting up a big game against the Falcons will also revive Wilson’s MVP hopes. He might not care about winning the award, but fans are pulling for him to finally get his due.
