The Scout’s Opinion

"Lean, muscular build engineered for playing 4-3 defensive end. Powerful, physical and disciplined run defender. Sets firm edges and process the run extremely well. Extremely comfortably stepping down, taking on pullers and squeezing gaps. Love his potential as a pass rusher in terms of power, length and quickness. All the traits needed to win in the NFL are present. Can really power through gaps when angles are greased. Has high level flashes of football intelligence against the run and pass. – Joe Marino, The Draft Network"

Outlook: Tied for the most sacks, Young can easily be the first pick if it wasn’t for all the quarterbacks available. As of now, Young looks like a potential franchise cornerstone.

Early Projection: Top-Three Pick
