9. Texans, Raiders combine for 70+ points

In order to keep things closer in the AFC playoff race, both the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders will be looking to bounce back in Week 8 following tough losses this past Sunday.

While the Texans came up short in a tough divisional battle against a familiar face in the Indianapolis Colts, the Raiders lost a difficult one as well at Lambeau Field after Aaron Rodgers torched their defense for six total touchdowns.

The good news for both Houston and Oakland is there’s still a whole two months to put themselves in better position for one of the playoff spots in the AFC, whether it’s for the Wild Card or simply the division.

But before jumping too far ahead, the main focus for these teams will be Sunday’s meeting in what should be an entertaining AFC battle.

When looking at these two offenses that Deshaun Watson and Derek Carr have to work with, there’s a good chance this game could top 70+ points with ease, especially when seeing how each team’s defense looked in Week 7.

If this turns out to be the case, don’t be surprised if the winner from this one is determined on the final drive of the game as well.
