15. Smith-Schuster records first multi-touchdown game of 2019

With Antonio Brown no longer part of the picture, this was supposed to be the year in which JuJu Smith-Schuster elevated his game to new levels as the top option for the Pittsburgh Steelers to work with in the passing game.

As Steelers fans know, the 2019 season hasn’t exactly gone according to plan after the team lost three of their first four games, and lost Ben Roethlisberger early on for the season with an elbow injury.

No one needs to explain just how much of a difference Pittsburgh’s offense is with Big Ben in the lineup under center, but at least the Steelers are coming off a huge win before the bye on the road over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Up next, Pittsburgh basically seems like they will be receiving a gift at home on Monday Night Football with the winless Miami Dolphins coming to town in a game that could very well be over by the time the fourth quarter rolls around.

Through six games, it’s been surprising to see Smith-Schuster only have 25 catches to his name, but hopefully Monday’s game will see the wideout finally put together that breakout game Steelers fans have patiently been waiting for.
