This has been a rough week for the Chicago Bears and they haven’t even played the game yet. After an embarrassing performance in a Week 7 loss to the New Orleans Saints, they look to turn things around.
While the team prepares to face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 8, it seems that Chicago is burning. With the offense struggling throughout the season, NFL experts and fans are pitching in their ideas on what is wrong and how to improve. We hear calls for replacing the running back, replacing the offensive line, replacing the quarterback, and even replacing the head coach.
The trade deadline is less than a week away but I don’t see the Bears making major changes, if any at all. This is a team that keeps moving forward, good or bad, and then makes whatever changes they feel need to be made in the offseason. This is pretty much the team we’ll see the rest of the season.
With that being said, the Bears need some players to step up and shine this week. These players need to take the team on their shoulders, if need be, and lead it to a victory. These players perform in key areas that need a leader to step up.
Yes, this is a team game and a team needs all their players on the same page. However, there are certain players who do more and get all the players moving in unison. That hasn’t really happened this season. That needs to change if they want to save the season.
