The New York Jets dropped to 1-5 after their brutal 33-0 loss to New England Monday night. Will Gang Green win another game this season?

It must be so tough being a New York Jets fan these days. Gang Green hit a new low this past Monday night on national TV with a humiliating 33-0 setback to the world champion New England Patriots. The loss dropped the green and white to 1-5 and may be the nadir of another lost season in the wilderness for this hapless franchise.

The Jets looked so pathetic on offense, defense and special teams it begs the question – will they win another game this year? Are they looking at a 1-15 campaign?

Let’s take a look at their remaining schedule and see if we can forecast another victory for Gang Green:

Oct. 27 at Jacksonville: This is not your father’s Jaguar defense but they still have Leonard Fournette, who ranks second in the NFL in rushing (715 yards). The Jags also have a talented young wide receiver in Dede Westbrook who will burn Trumaine Johnson repeatedly. Jaguars 20, Jets 13

Nov. 3 at Miami: The Jets continue their tour of Florida against the winless Fish. This is a supreme opportunity to claim victory number two but did you know that the Jets have not won in Miami since 2015? The Dolphins are playing a little better of late and, behind Kenyan Drake’s 90 rushing yards and a touchdown, they prevail over Gang Green, 17-14. Ouch.

Nov. 10 vs. Giants: The battle of New York — or should I say New Jersey — which occurs every four years comes down to one simple thing: who is the best player on the field? That accolade belongs to Saquon Barkley of the G-Men and he makes the difference with a pair of touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving). Giants 24, Jets 17

Nov. 17 at Washington: This is the one. The Redskins are abysmal on both sides of the ball. Sam “I’m seeing ghosts” Darnold fires two touchdown passes and rushes for another as Gang Green rolls in the nation’s capital, 34-20.

Now that the Jets have secured their second triumph of this forgettable season, let’s predict the remainder of their slate:

Nov. 24 vs. Oakland: The Raiders are much improved this year and tight end Darren Waller is a real handful but Oakland can be run on. Le’Veon Bell rambles for 121 yards and a touchdown to power Gang Green. Jets 27, Oakland 22

Dec. 1 at Cincinnati: The Bengals are currently winless and by the time this contest arrives they’ll still own one of the worst defensive units in the league. Darnold and Robby Anderson take advantage of a porous secondary by connecting on two scores in a 30-24 Jets victory.

Dec. 8 vs. Miami: The Jets are like butter here — they’re on a roll — and hook the Fish behind Bell and Chris Herndon (one touchdown apiece) in a 19-3 romp.

Dec. 12 (Thu.) at Baltimore: Did you know the Jets have never won in Baltimore? Ever. Nothing is going to change this time around as Lamar Jackson rushes for a pair of touchdowns in a 27-6 rout.

Dec. 22 vs. Pittsburgh: The Steelers have had their struggles this season but they still have James Conner and a bruising defense. Bell will be fired up to face his old mates and respond with 95 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown. But Chris Boswell boots a 46-yard field goal in overtime to lift Pittsburgh to a 20-17 win.

Dec. 30 at Buffalo: The season finale will be cold and probably snowy at New Era Field but the Bills may be vying for an AFC playoff berth here. The Jets simply want to go home. Josh Allen tosses two touchdown passes to Darnold’s one in a 17-10 Buffalo triumph.

Jets predicted final record: 5-11
