2. Carr stays aggressive, has big day

Without question, Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr managed to muck up the opportunities for a road win in Green Bay. His two turnovers were also an indication that at times, Carr’s worst enemy is himself. However, his aggressive nature won’t be something Gruden puts an end to.

Carr is one key reason the Raiders are 3-3 and still in a position to make some noise this season. Against the Packers, and in a curious attempt to lead a comeback, Carr managed some decent numbers. He would complete his day going 22 of 28 for 293 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. It’s his fumble for a touchback that most fans take away from an opportunity lost for a big upset win.

Now, having said all of that, Houston isn’t Green Bay. In the last three games, the Texans defense has given up 32 points to the Falcons, 24 to the Chiefs, and 30 to the Colts. In Week 7 alone, Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett throw for 326 yards and four touchdowns. In that three-game stretch, they also allowed Matt Ryan to go off for 330 yards and three touchdowns.

Bottom-line, the Houston defense can be had. If Carr can make some smarter choices with the football, he can have a big day and lead the Raiders to a big road win.
