DraftKings NFL Picks, Week 8: Best bargains in DFS play
By Drew DeLuca
We separate treats from tricks by unmasking the best Week 8 bargains for DraftKings NFL picks through a position-by-position breakdown.
Winning lineup management with DraftKings NFL picks and DFS fantasy football requires competent expenditures at the tight end and defense position. We cherry-pick our favorites in those spots, but not before sorting through the dump of quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers.
We set aside the highest-priced options at those positions to retrofit them later into lineups stacked with the best available values. Let’s take a look at the players teetering on these Top Ten cut lines.
Steer clear of Kyler Murray (ARI at NO, $6,200) in the Superdome. The New Orleans Saints defense is clearly superior to the New York Giants unit that held him in check last week, and wide receiver Christian Kirk remains hobbled by an ankle injury.
However, Aaron Jones (GB at KC, $6,800) is a terrific play against a Kansas City Chiefs team that will send fry cook Matt Moore to the line, as master chef Patrick Mahomes continues to nurse a leg injury. The Chiefs defense brings little to the table, and the game script should allow Jones to run rampant, even if he does end up sharing carries with Jamal Williams.
Few DFS players require prompting to start Tyler Lockett (SEA at ATL, $7,000) against an atrocious Atlanta Falcons secondary. Now, read on so you can fill the rest of your lineup with the sweetest treats Week 8 has to offer.
