Tight Ends

Once again, Travis Kelce (KC vs. GB, $7,200) is the highest-priced tight end, and once again, better values can be found at the position at a steep discount. Unfortunately, Saints tight end Jared Cook (NO vs. ARI, $4,000) has been ruled OUT, so the best value at the position is no longer an option. Let’s roll up our sleeves and find the best from the rest.

Austin Hooper (ATL vs. SEA, $5,500): Hooper has been a steady presence in the offense, and that shouldn’t change if Matt Ryan can’t suit up. Seattle ranks in the bottom tier in terms of points allowed to the tight end position, so Hooper is as good a bet as anyone on the Falcons to cross the stripe in Week 8.

Hunter Henry (LAC at CHI, $4,900): Henry wasted no time making his presence felt when coming back from injury, and makes a great start for the price against a struggling Chicago Bears defense that can’t figure itself out. Like Williams, Henry should benefit from the expected absence of Allen.

Jimmy Graham (GB at KC, $4,500): Figuring out which Green Bay Packers wide receiver to start each week has been about as easy as finding something exciting to watch on Lifetime Network. Luckily for DFS players, Matt LaFleur’s offense has featured the tight end more than most expected. Graham is a solid play and should continue to emerge as a frequent target for a rejuvenated Aaron Rodgers.

Josh Hill (NO vs. ARI, $3,200): Any starting tight end is a plug-and-play start against the Arizona Cardinals, the league’s worst at defending the position. Cook’s injury allows Hill to ascend to a role that’s almost as automatic as choosing the Dolphins’ opponent every week in an NFL Survivor Pool. Good luck finding a better value for the price.
