With the possible return of Drew Brees, Week 8 looks great for the New Orleans Saints. Three bold predictions for their matchup against the Cardinals.

It’s hard to believe that it’s already Week 8, when many New Orleans Saints fans thought that they’d be in much worse shape. Thankfully since losing Drew Brees, Teddy Bridgewater has filled in perfectly.

Currently, the Saints are sitting atop the NFC South with a record of 6-1 which is more win than any of us though. If anything, it proves how well-rounded the team is even without Brees.

Not everything’s been great in New Orleans but Week 7 was as it was an all-around great team effort. While the Bears did try for a comeback win, the Saints were able to stop it pretty quickly. Most notably, the Saints defense had one of their best games yet as they finished with two recovered fumbles, two blocked punts, two sacks and a safety. The Saints D truly had a day in Chicago.

Usually, the Saints defense is the one bright spot but Latavius Murray led the way for the offense with two rushing touchdowns along with over 100 rushing yards and over 30 receiving yards. It was the perfect way to welcome back Drew Brees, who might start in Week 8. We haven’t heard anything official yet but it’s possible.

Either way, the New Orleans Saints have cemented themselves at the very top of the NFC with the 49ers. This week though, the Saints are facing off against the Arizona Cardinals. Before their meeting, here are three bold predictions for the Saints as they go up against the Cards at home.
