With the Atlanta Falcons falling to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8, here are three studs and duds from the Falcons in yet another loss.

The Atlanta Falcons have officially wrapped up a less-than-stellar first half of the 2019 NFL regular season. The Falcons will head into their bye in Week 9 as one of the worst teams in the league while seeing their losing streak extend even further after Week 8.  Atlanta fell to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, dropping the contest to Seattle, 27-20.

In the game, the Seahawks got out to a large lead in the first half and that put the game out of reach right out of the gate. Seattle grabbed a 3-0 lead after one quarter one the road in Atlanta, before tallying 21 points in the second quarter to obtain a 24-0 advantage heading into halftime.

In the second half, the Falcons attempted to make a late-game comeback, only to see that attempt come up short. Atlanta outscored Seattle 11-0 in the third quarter to cut the lead down to 24-11, even bringing the game down to seven in the fourth quarter after holding a 9-3 edge in the final frame, but ultimately came up empty.

With the loss, the Falcons now have their losing streak stretch to six straight games while moving to 1-7 overall on the season. Atlanta will remain at the bottom of the NFC South standings heading into Week 9 next weekend.

The Falcons will get a chance to regroup and try and correct things during their bye week this coming week, but things are not looking great in Atlanta at the midway mark in the year.

With the Falcons falling yet again at home against the Seahawks on Sunday afternoon, let’s go back and look at three studs and duds from the game for Atlanta.
