Stud: Julio Jones

Julio Jones led all receivers in the game with over 150 yards receiving to pace the way for Atlanta’s offense with its new leader for the week in backup quarterback Matt Schaub. Schaub found Jones early and often in the contest on Sunday afternoon, with Jones finishing with 152 yards receiving on 10 receptions and a game-high 12 overall targets in the contest.

The Pro Bowl wide receiver wasn’t able to find his way into the end zone in the matchup, but going for over 150 yards is still something to be impressed by.

Dud: Absence of Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan suffered an ankle injury in the Week 7 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, an injury that forced him out of the game a week ago and moved Schaub into the starting role, but there was hope that Ryan would be able to rehab and get healthy during the week leading up to the game on Sunday to play against the Seahawks.

After missing a few days of practice during the week before being limited right before a final decision was made on whether or not he would play in the contest in Week 8, Ryan ended up being ruled out of the game as he couldn’t get healthy enough to return.

Any time you are without a quarterback to the caliber of Ryan, it is going to hurt your team and it will have an impact on the upcoming game regardless. But even if Ryan was healthy enough to play against Seattle on Sunday afternoon, it still might not have even been enough for Atlanta to come out on top.
