With the New England Patriots taking down the Cleveland Browns in Week 8, here are three studs and duds from yet another win for New England.

You know the common story by now. Another week, another win for the New England Patriots. The Patriots continued their impressive start to the 2019 season in Week 8 on Sunday evening against the Cleveland Browns at home, remaining perfect on the year at the midway point of the season.

New England took down Cleveland in an AFC showdown at Gillette Stadium, with the defending Super Bowl Champions topping the Browns, 27-1,3 in the contest.

The Patriots kicked off the game by jumping out to a large lead to set the tone of the game early on, holding a 17-0 advantage after the first quarter while forcing a few turnovers that resulted in some quick points up on the scoreboard. They ended up holding a 17-7 advantage going into halftime at home against the Browns.

In the second half, New England was able to coast to the victory while outscoring Cleveland 10-6 for the remainder of the contest at in Foxborough.

With the win, the Patriots improved to a perfect 8-0 on the year to remain atop the AFC East division and NFL standings in general entering Week 9. New England, which remains ahead of the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins in the AFC East standings, will hit the road next Sunday to square off against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon in Baltimore.

As the Patriots remaining undefeated on the season with a win over the Browns on Sunday in Week 8, let’s take a look back at three duds and studs for New England in the victory.
