8. Buffalo Bills (5)

One week after receiving somewhat of a scare at home against the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills watched the Philadelphia Eagles give Sean McDermott‘s team a major wake-up call during Sunday’s 31-13 loss.

Over the last two months, the Bills have been considered one of the biggest threats in the AFC thanks to a stellar defense along with an improved offense that appeared to be on the rise after finally finding a quarterback to rely on in Josh Allen.

Even though there’s no reason to panic after only one loss, when looking at all of the struggles surrounding Philadelphia in recent weeks, this loss was certainly a frustrating one for Buffalo since it seems like a missed opportunity.

Looking at the box score, the fact that Allen was the leading rusher on offense with only 45 yards shows what kind of game this was for the Bills, and they better figure out a way to regroup with the Washington Redskins coming to town in Week 9.

In comparison, this seems like another game in which Buffalo should easily win since Washington only has one win to their name, but also desperation tends to bring out the best in teams, and if the Bills aren’t careful, they could be in for another tough battle at home.
