7. Indianapolis Colts (8)

The fact that each of the five wins this season for the Indianapolis Colts have been by single-digits, showing just how great of a football team this really is.

Back in August when Andrew Luck decided to retire out of nowhere during the preseason, there were plenty of questions surrounding whether the Colts would be serious contenders in the conference for a second year in a row.

Thanks to Jacoby Brissett stepping up on offense along with the defense playing better than expected, Indianapolis continues to impress, and deserves to still be the favorites in the AFC South race.

Just look at the way Brissett handled the pressure towards the end of Sunday’s win over the Broncos when the Colts needed to score, and it’s clear this Indianapolis team has the potential to make a deep run come January.

Sunday may not have been the most impressive performance for the Colts, but the most important factor of all is they still found a way to win over the Broncos.

And if Indianapolis can find a way to earn another win next weekend on the road over the Pittsburgh Steelers, it’s only going to continue to make a stronger case for the Colts as a top contender in the AFC.
