Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-5) at Seattle Seahawks (6-2)

Sunday, November 3, 4:05PM ET

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have not been good this year. Despite a couple of surprise wins, they’ve been underwhelming in nearly every department. Especially on the offensive end, they simply can’t seem to avoid shooting themselves in the foot over and over on game day.

Is that trend suddenly going to change in Week 9? Probably not. And against a top team like the Seattle Seahawks, that’s a recipe for failure. As a result, I’m predicting the Seahawks will come away with the victory as they continue to jockey for positioning in the NFC playoff race.

The Buccaneers are just not in a good position to win on a regular basis with Jameis Winston under center. While he’s obviously a talented player, his knack for turning the ball over has been devastating this season. And while the Tampa Bay run defense is spectacular, their inability to slow the pass (they’re 31st in the league against the pass) is too much to overcome.

Russell Wilson will find a way to get the job done. Although this one will likely be too close for comfort for Seattle fans, this team has made it a habit of waiting until the last minute to secure the W. Either way, the Buccaneers get another loss and the Seahawks continue their winning ways.

Prediction: Seahawks win 27-25
