Houston Texans (5-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars (4-4)

Sunday, November 3, 9:30AM ET

If you like quarterback magic, then you need to tune into this Week 9 showdown. This one will pit Deshaun Watson against Gardner Minshew, who have both done their fair shares of pulling wins out of hats this season. Expect more of the same on Sunday.

With that said, only one team can come away with the W. So who will it be? I’m predicting the Houston Texans will take the cake in this one, with Watson putting the club on his shoulders and leading the charge as he’s done in recent weeks. Trust me when I say the Jacksonville Jaguars won’t go down without a fight though.

What it really comes down to is overall talent on both sides of the ball. The Texans seem to have the all-around advantage, offering more upside in terms of playmakers on the offensive and defensive ends. In particular, I’d look for DeAndre Hopkins to make life miserable for the depleted Jacksonville secondary.

Despite all of that, it should be close. Watson leads a late-game drive to take the lead in the final few minutes, and the Houston defense makes a stand against Minshew to secure the W. Either way, expect an entertaining AFC South battle.

Prediction: Texans win 27-24
