Chicago Bears (3-4) at Philadelphia Eagles (4-4)

Sunday, November 3, 1PM ET

I’m not sure what happened last weekend, but someone lit a fire under the Philadelphia Eagles. After looking like a lost squad at times this season, they were rolling in Week 8, putting the hurting to the Buffalo Bills and their top-tier defense.

Now, they welcome the Chicago Bears into town. Earlier this season, I would have said this wouldn’t be an ideal situation for the Eagles. However, with the way the Bears have been playing in recent weeks, it’s looking like this should be a perfect opportunity for Philadelphia to earn a midseason win.

The Chicago offense is simply inept right now. Mitchell Trubisky hasn’t gotten it going since his return from injury, and the ground game hasn’t been able to carry the load. Despite some strong performances from David Montgomery, the Bears are still struggling to consistently put points on the board.

I’m guessing that’ll continue to be the case on Sunday. The Eagles will get some big plays from their defense, allowing Carson Wentz and the Philly offense to do their job. The Chicago defense won’t completely bend, but the offense will put too much pressure on them to not break.

Prediction: Eagles win 21-16
