New York Jets (1-6) at Miami Dolphins (0-7)

Sunday, November 3, 1PM ET

Whether or not Sam Darnold sees ghosts, that shouldn’t keep him from haunting the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon. As bad as the New York Jets have been this season, they’re still better than the pathetic Dolphins and their sad excuse for a football team.

In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if Darnold completely turned his fortunes around in this one. Coming off a miserable outing against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the young quarterback should get the best of the Miami secondary — time and time again. Look for him to show some of the stuff that made him one of the league’s top up-and-coming gunslingers coming into 2019.

As for the Dolphins, let’s just hope they don’t make a complete mockery of themselves. They actually showed some life against the Steelers in Week 8, only to give up 27 unanswered points and watch their best shot at a win go down the drain. More than likely, it won’t be as pretty this time around, even against a dull Jets squad.

These two teams both need to hit the reset button, but one is clearly better than the other. While the Jets probably don’t want the win at this point, they’re going to get it.

Prediction: Jets win 23-13
