Minnesota Vikings (6-2) at Kansas City Chiefs (5-3)

Sunday, November 3, 1PM ET

Right now, it’s hard to pick against the Minnesota Vikings. They’ve won four games in a row, as Kirk Cousins has suddenly flipped a switch and is playing like one of the NFL’s very best quarterbacks. Oh, and they boast one of the top two-headed rushing attacks in the league.

Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs have lost three of their last four. They’re currently working with Matt Moore at quarterback, even though there’s an outside chance Patrick Mahomes returns in Week 9. Even if he does, it’s unclear if the Kansas City defense is up to the task of slowing down the Vikings’ suddenly potent, 3rd-ranked offense.

On top of that, it’s not like the Minnesota defense is a slouch. While it hasn’t been quite as good as in recent years, the Vikings are still coming up with big plays in clutch situations. That leads me to believe they’ll sneak away with a victory in this one, even if Mahomes is good to go.

Either way, this will be must-watch football for Week 9. These are two of the league’s top clubs going head-to-head in a game that features playmakers like Dalvin Cook, Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs and Travis Kelce. Tune in if you can, because you won’t want to miss this firework show.

Prediction: Vikings win 34-33
