Tennessee Titans (4-4) at Carolina Panthers (4-3)

Sunday, November 3, 1PM ET

After last weekend’s demoralizing loss to the 49ers, the Panthers need a win in the worst of ways. Especially as the Saints continue to pull away in the race for the NFC South crown, they can’t afford to keep the losses rolling in.

A matchup with the Tennessee Titans should prove to be just the opportunity they need to right the ship, though. While the Titans have won two in a row since benching Marcus Mariota in favor of Ryan Tannehill, they’re still far from a team worth shivering in your shoes about. They’re absolutely beatable, especially for a talented team like the Panthers.

So what does Carolina need to do to avoid beginning a losing streak? Put the ball in Christian McCaffrey’s hands on a regular basis. The star running back has been the difference-maker for the Panthers this season, taking the pressure off of Kyle Allen to put all of the points on the board.

As long as they can feed McCaffrey and keep Tannehill in relative check, the Panthers should run away with this one. The Tennessee defense is not stout enough to make up for the offensive deficiencies that the Titans bring to the table.

Prediction: Panthers win 21-16
