Here are five head coaches that should consider themselves on the hot seat for NFL Week 9 of the 2019 season.

No head coaching jobs were lost after this past weekend, but this doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of candidates still on the hot seat heading into NFL Week 9 of the 2019 season since some teams could be another loss away from making moves.

Back in the middle of September, the Atlanta Falcons seemed like they were ready to take a major leap in regards to becoming a legitimate contender in the NFC following an impressive win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2.

But since that game, the Falcons have lost six games in a row, and Dan Quinn seems like he could be in search of a new job at any given moment.

For whatever reason, Quinn just can’t seem to get this Falcons team to live up to the high expectations since the talent is certainly there on both sides of the football to the point where they should have at least one or two more wins by now.

Most coaches across the NFL would love the opportunity to have players such as Matt Ryan or Julio Jones on the roster, making this situation even more frustrating for Atlanta fans to deal with.

Not even the Falcons being forced to roll with Matt Schaub this past weekend due to Ryan dealing with an injured Ryan could be good enough to save Quinn’s job since the team already appears to be throwing the towel in on the 2019 season.
