5. Williams increases touchdown streak to six games

Believe it or not, thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs dealing with some struggles of their own, the Oakland Raiders are still in decent shape to compete for the AFC West title if they can finish with a strong second half to the season.

Suffering two losses in a row to the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans was obviously frustrating for the Raiders since they missed out on a golden opportunity to catch up to the Chiefs, but all that matters is focusing on their next matchup.

With the Raiders returning home, there’s nothing Jon Gruden would love more than to see his team earn their fourth win of the season by taking down Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions.

This certainly won’t be easy since the Lions are making a case of their own for being an underrated contender in the NFC, but if Derek Carr can continue to take advantage of Tyrell Williams being a touchdown machine, a win is definitely possible.

As frustrating as it was to watch Williams miss two games this year, it should be noted that in each of the other five games, the wideout has managed to find his way into the end zone.

If Williams can find a way to make it six, the Raiders will be in better shape to win, and get back to .500 on the season.
