3. Lazard posts first career 100-yard game

Injuries have unfortunately hit the Green Bay Packers all over the place so far this season, yet Aaron Rodgers still continues to find ways to help lead his team to key wins.

Take a look at this past weekend for example when Rodgers helped the Packers earn another tough win on the road over the Kansas City Chiefs, and it’s clear that Green Bay seems determined to make a deep run at the playoffs.

With that being said, the Packers face another tough challenge in Week 9 by heading to California to take on the Los Angeles Chargers.

Since the Chargers’ defense is always a serious threat, Rodgers will need to see some of his teammates step up on offense, one of which could be Allen Lazard.

Due to numerous injuries at the wide receiver position, Lazard has done an amazing job over the last couple of weeks stepping up in the passing game, including a key touchdown catch against the Detroit Lions back in Week 6.

Since Lazard hasn’t seen as much action as most receivers on the Packers, it shouldn’t be a surprise that he has yet to record the first 100-yard game of his career, but maybe this will happen to help take down the Chargers.
