19. Darnold finishes with four turnovers

Two weeks after making it seem like they were about to take a major leap in the AFC, the New York Jets have lost two brutal games in a row to the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars.

With an upcoming matchup against the winless Miami Dolphins, this would seem like the perfect opportunity for the Jets to earn their second win of 2019, but unfortunately this is easier said than done.

If Monday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers is any indication, Miami seems determined more than ever to finally earn that first win of the season to avoid ending up on the wrong side of history by going the entire year without a single win.

If this turns out to be the case, Sam Darnold should expect plenty of pressure from the Dolphins’ defense, and could end up with another rough outing in the turnover department.

To say the last two games have been brutal for Darnold would be a huge understatement when taking into consideration the former first-round pick has recorded nine total turnovers.

Knowing the Dolphins, the defense will use this to their advantage to make sure the Jets quarterback adds more turnovers to his 2019 total, and make it another long afternoon for New York’s offense.
