NFL Week 9, 2019: 20 Bold predictions to consider

17. Jaguars shock Texans in London
Back in Week 2, the Jacksonville Jaguars nearly shocked the Houston Texans on the road by going for what would have been the game-winning two-point conversion, only to come up just short.
As frustrating as this was at the time, keep in mind that Jacksonville was coming off a tough week in which they lost Nick Foles due to a serious injury before Gardner Minshew filled in to start what has been an entertaining last two months for the Jaguars.
Never in a million years did football fans expect Minshew of all quarterbacks would play a role in the Jaguars in decent shape at 4-4 to show this is the last team anyone should rule out in the AFC playoff race.
Jacksonville seems like a long shot at the moment, but if they can find a way to pull off an upset over Houston in front of London fans, this could help the Jaguars earn some recognition from across the league.
As crazy as it sounds, there’s already been talk about the possibility of the Jaguars sticking with Minshew once Foles is healthy enough to return just because of the momentum on offense.
And if Jacksonville defeats Houston, it’s only going to make Minshew’s case to remain the starter when the time comes even stronger.
