15. Watkins records first 100-yard game since Week 1

With three losses over their last four games, the Kansas City Chiefs are clearly far from the dominant football team fans were introduced to last year, although there’s no reason to hit the panic button just yet.

The good news for the Chiefs is when seeing how the rest of the division is playing out, Kansas City still deserves to be the favorites to finish on top of the AFC West, even if Patrick Mahomes misses another game or two while recovering from his injury.

Despite coming up short against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8, Matt Moore still made a statement by showing he’s capable of filling in until the reigning MVP is healthy enough to return.

Of course, if Moore really wants his job to be easier to handle under center, the veteran will need numerous players to step up on offense this Sunday when the Chiefs take on the Minnesota Vikings.

One player worth keeping an eye on in the passing game is Sammy Watkins, as the speedster has yet to break the 100-yard receiving mark since starting the year off on a hot note with nine catches for 198 yards to go along with three touchdowns.

Matching these numbers against the Vikings’ defense will obviously be a long shot, but even if Watkins finishes with more than 100 receiving yards, the Chiefs will be happy.
