3. Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson has been making a viable case to be the NFL MVP in his second season in the NFL and first full year as the starter for the Baltimore Ravens. The dynamic dual-threat quarterback has been unstoppable with his legs and, though his passing numbers have been inconsistent this season, he’s shown development as a thrower this year with some big games along the way.

One thing that has done Jackson no favors in the passing game, though, is a group of pass-catchers that leaves a lot to be desired. Particularly with rookie speedster Marquise Brown banged-up for a good portion of the season, Jackson has been forced to rely on the likes of Willie Snead and tight ends Mark Andrews and Hayden Hurst.

For Jackson and the Ravens offense to reach their full potential, it feels like they need another weapon to emerge. Josh Gordon could be that player for them. His versatility and physical tools have long made him a matchup nightmare and his deep threat ability seems to pair perfectly with Jackson’s strength as a downfield thrower.

There’s a chance that Baltimore is content with the group they have, especially considering the success that they’ve still enjoyed despite the lacking pass-catchers. However, if they want to take a shot at bringing the offense to another level, Gordon is a player that could help them do just that given his skills and the fit.
