Here are five teams that should consider themselves on upset alert for NFL Week 9 of the 2019 season.

After another exciting weekend of football action, fans have plenty to look forward to once again for NFL Week 9, especially when it comes to potential upset.

Around this time last week, there was plenty of talk surrounding the Buffalo Bills being on upset alert with the Philadelphia Eagles coming to town, but no one expected them to lose as bad as they did at home.

With the Eagles dealing with all sorts of injuries on both sides of the football on top of unnecessary drama in the locker room, the Bills seemed to be in position to earn an easy win in this one.

Instead, Buffalo received a major wake-up call, as Philadelphia would go on to win 31-13, putting even more pressure on the Bills heading into their Week 9 contest against the Washington Redskins.

Since the Redskins are nowhere near the same level as the Eagles from a competitive perspective, this may seem like another game in which the Bills should feel extra confident, but also keep in mind that Washington is hitting desperation mode.

In other words, Buffalo better take an extra cautious approach for this meeting with Washington, or they could end up with a second loss in a row at home while making it easier for other teams in the AFC to potentially earn a Wild Card spot in the playoffs.
