3. Jaguars vs. Texans

A few weeks ago, there’s no way this AFC South battle between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans would be on a list like this, mainly because Doug Marrone’s team seemed to be heading towards another year of rebuilding.

But thanks to Gardner Minshew helping the Jaguars earn two wins in a row, Jacksonville all of a sudden seems to have new life when it comes to competing with the rest of the teams for the AFC South title.

Even though the Texans are technically in second place at the moment behind the Indianapolis Colts, Houston is still going to be standing the way of Jacksonville if this is going to have any shot at happening.

Week 8 was another perfect example of just how effective Deshaun Watson can be when on top of his game after watching some of his heroics to take down the Oakland Raiders.

Watson has made a name for himself as a quarterback on the rise each season in the AFC, and even though Minshew isn’t anywhere near the same level at the moment, he still finds a way to bring plenty of excitement.

Keep in mind how close Minshew was to helping the Jaguars knock off the Texans back in Week 2, and maybe Jacksonville has what it takes to come through this time.
