After just missing the Super Bowl following the 2018 season, the Kansas City Chiefs got to work trying to shore up their defense. They added a lot of talent but can still use some help. That’s why they grab a versatile player here in Alabama’s Raekwon Davis.

Capable of filling multiple roles on the Chiefs defensive line, Davis would help everyone in their front seven perform at a higher level. He’s a good run stuffer and can also produce as a pass rusher from the interior.

Davis was a potential first-round pick last season but decided to return for his senior year. That could help him become a contributor quicker in his rookie campaign as he was able to refine his skills, even more, this past year.

The Los Angeles Rams have taken the approach that draft picks don’t mean much. Rather than groom their own talent, they’re allowing other teams to do the development and then trying to cash in with those players.

It’s an interesting strategy and only time will tell if it pays off. For the Jaguars, it’s fine as they’re able to get another pick here in this mock which is used on Oklahoma’s Creed Humphrey. The Jags offensive line needs a little work and he should be an instant starter for them.
