Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. Tee Higgins. 42. San Francisco 49ers. 31. player

The San Francisco 49ers continued their winning ways this Thursday night and they also got their first look at Emmanuel Sanders who was acquired ahead of the trading deadline. His arrival gives Jimmy Garoppolo a veteran receiver to trust as they work on some of their young players into the mix.

His contract is up at the end of the season but there’s a good chance they will bring him back if he plays well for them. Whether or not that proves to be true, the Niners can use a legitimate No. 1 receiver. Dante Pettis and Deebo Samuel are good pieces but they need that guy who can win the one on one battles.

With that goal in mind, they grab Tee Higgins from Clemson. Last season he pulled down 12 touchdowns and while his numbers don’t pop out too much this season, he does look more polished as a receiver.

32. player. 47. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. New England Patriots. Tristan Wirfs

Tom Brady’s future is suddenly up in the air but it feels like there’s no way he plays for anyone else. After this season, he should be back once again in New England and the Patriots will make sure he’s better protected in 2020 by drafting Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs.

This season, the New England offensive line hasn’t been up to their normal standards, which is due to the play of the tackles. Wirfs likely stays at right tackle but he should be an instant starter and can fill that role for a decade or more.
