23. Chicago Bears (23)

Not too long ago, the Chicago Bears were thought of as contenders in the NFC. In fact, their head coach won NFL Coach of the Year as a rookie in 2018. However, this season hasn’t been anywhere near as impressive for Matt Nagy and his Chicago team.

This Sunday was a new low for them as their offense was more inept than it has ever been. It was so bad that they had just nine yards of net offense heading into the half. They did start moving the ball in the second half but still finished with just 164 total yards in their 22-14 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

It’s a frustrating feeling for the team, and their fans, as they have a legitimate powerhouse defense led by Khalil Mack, Eddie Jackson, and Roquan Smith. That unit does a great job keeping them in games but the offense has been a huge problem for them.

Most of those issues can be traced back to the quarterback position. In this loss, Mitchell Trubisky was able to complete just 10 passes for a total of just 125 yards. Even with his struggles, Nagy continues to stay committed to him under center. Now at 3-5, they need Trubisky to prove Nagy right if they want any chance at salvaging their 2019 season.
