12. Dallas Cowboys (12): Play Monday Night vs. Giants

There isn’t a team in the NFL harder to figure out than the Dallas Cowboys. They’ve won the NFC East in two of the past three seasons and entered Week 9 in first place — by just a half-game. They could extend that lead with a win over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, but it really shouldn’t even be close.

Dallas won their first three games of the season easily, including a win over the Giants in Week 1 and another NFC East victory in Week 2 as they made it look easy against the Washington Redskins. They then knocked off the Miami Dolphins before dropping the following three games against the Saints, Packers, and Jets.

While New Orleans beat them by just two, the Packers ended up with a 10-point win. However, the Cowboys actually played much better in that one as they were able to move the ball at will. The problem was, they kept turning it over and practically handed Green Bay the win. They then lost to the New York Jets in a completely shocking game.

After that defeat, even their strongest supporters were questioning the direction of the team. So naturally, that led to their best game of the season as they embarrassed the Eagles 37-10 on Sunday Night Football.

With all that being said, we should have no idea what to expect on Monday. Dallas has the better team on paper and won easily in Week 1. But they’ve also proven that team can be left behind at times, so they could lay a stinker. It’s anyone’s guess.
