NFL Power Rankings, Week 10: Ravens upend Patriots, Browns implode completely

1. San Francisco 49ers (2)
Everyone wanted to talk about the performance of Jimmy Garoppolo after the San Francisco 49ers beat the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football. It was a 28-25 victory and easily the young signal-caller’s best game of the year. He finished with 317 yards and four touchdowns, then made more news after the game.
While being interviewed by Erin Andrews, Garoppolo was asked how 8-0 feels. His response was “it feels great baby,” which elicited quite the reaction on social media. Some found it humorous while others felt it was derogatory to Andrews who was simply trying to do her job. She laughed it off but there’s no telling if she was bothered by his comments and simply tried to hide it, or felt as though Jimmy G was just having fun after a big win.
Either way, it got a lot of attention when the real spotlight needs to be on the way this team is playing. They did allow the Cardinals to come back and make it a game but they were in control throughout and have now played half their games without suffering a loss.
There will continue to be doubters who say they haven’t played anyone good yet but they can’t control their schedule. What they can do is take care of business, which they continue to do week in and week out.
Looking ahead on their schedule they have a chance to silence some doubters next week when they play the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. They then play the Arizona Cardinals followed by a tough stretch which includes the Packers, Ravens and Saints.
Should they come out of there still owning a perfect record — or honestly, even a one-loss record — it will be hard not to give them their due. Which to them, would feel good baby — as should them being the final undefeated team in the NFL.
